With the VR interaction framework, you can easily create your own interactive objects and get started quickly.
The framework is specially designed and based on Oculus Quest. However, through Unity's XRInput system, it can be perfectly applied to Rift, HTC Vive and Windows WMR headwear devices. Some headwear devices may not be compatible with the Unity XR plug-in system, and may require SteamSDK registration input. If you are not sure whether specific devices are supported, please contact me or try the demo.
This resource contains examples of prefabricated components and assemblies. Some important features include:
-Physical Grasping and Throwing of Objects
-Buttons, knobs, levers, sliders, doors, joysticks, and other physically activated objects
-Smooth motion and transmission
-Support custom gestures
-Two handed weapon
-Customized PlayerController using Unity CharacterController (interchangeable with your own)
-Mountain climbing
World based custom UI system
Capture area - super modularization: making device plug-ins, inventory systems, etc
-Bow physics (arrows can be picked up and re shot)
-Gun handling/physics. The cartridge clip can be inserted and removed from the pistol, the slider can be pulled back, etc.
